If you keep eating like this when you're away you will need to buy the hummer!!!

It's getting to the stage where we are expecting beef in everything. Beef pizza, beef soup, Diet Beef Coke........

that was a great post! I live in Kyle, Texas and was surfing around looking for some reviews of the Salt Lick in Driftwood, and boy did I find it. That post made me go and get my keys and I'm heading over there now. I don't know why you were in Texas, but you are welcome to come on back any time you can. take care, celina

Hey Celina,
I was visiting a certain megacorp in Round Rock. Just thinking about it, I can smell the brisket now.
The Salt Lick outlet in Austin airport makes it the greatest airport in the world for me!
I hope you enjoyed it.

Dear Conor, Greetings from Canada! I was priviledged to have lived in Austin, and dined at Salt Lick with friends and family many times over... Trust me, I understand your wanting a franchise... I can't even order it - they can't ship to Canada either... Memories of BBQ brisket will have to suffice until the next time the hubby and I are in Texas.

I'll just have to make do with my Salt Lick T-Shirt and hope I get back to Texas in the next couple of years.
